Check your table saw

There are checks that you should work on your table saw, how you work, it will feed you a steady stream of information about how exactly the tool. One of the most basic controls, it is often considered a square to a torn edge or cross over. If the square tells you the cut is not right, you know, you have to check to find out why.

Another simple to use checks as you go, is to draw a cross section with a square. If the blade does not easily turn to this line, if you keep cutting yourself, it is probably theMiter gauge that requires attention.

There are three important rules that apply in any orientation table saw, table, slots, rip fence and the blade must all be parallel.

The fence must have the saw blade and the miter head, all perpendicular to the table surface.

If the miter gauge is in the normal horizontal position, it must be at right angles to the blade and the fence. Suppose you have already tested a parallelism between the table and saw slotsBlade of the zero-setting of miter gauge can be checked with a square.

As the blade that is locked on the port is the one thing of which you have no control, it is wise to align all the controls by determining whether the table starting slots in parallel to the saw blade. All other controls are contributing on the basis of these important relationships.

While these regulations, however, parallelism between the fence and the blade, it's not bad practice, a bit generous at the back ofthe blade so that the back teeth of the blade will not scratch the wood cut to the front teeth. This kind of adaptation can reduce the average roughness and feathers.
